It nearly killed my kids just getting this massive body of work from the car to the gallery 103 pieces in all. This surprised me, because when I left the studio I could only count 90 at most. I had no idea how many there actually were or where those extras came from.
Exhibition continues to run until 4pm Saturday 11Oct
A big thanks to everyone who turned out to support my adventures as an artist and first time solo exhibitor. Big love to you all!
It was fabulous to see so many familiar faces, some blasts from the past and some long lost friends along with the usual suspects (You know who you are xxx) . This exhibition has also given me the opportunity to meet some truly amazing people for the first time, whom I’ll look forward to getting to know more in the future.
The exhibition space was really beautiful and the work really sang on the walls (if I do say so myself), I felt really proud to see it all hung in the one space, so colourful and alive. A lovely place to have an exhibition stay tuned there may be a group show in the making.
Here are a few pics taken by Jill Bilston of Louis Joel Arts and Community Centre. Thanks Jill we would have been lost without your fabulous help.
